Whoremaster: Girl's general jobs

You can assign jobs to each girl you control and who is not in your dungeon. You can assign a job for the night and a job for the day. Jobs are regrouped by types General, Brothel, Gambling Hall and Bar. Here are the jobs you can assign in the general category:

Free Time
First, she rests. This greatly reduces her tiredness and increase her happiness. She will recover health and mana and a bit of libido. After this, she will often go shopping. It can be any item but she will buy a weapon or an armor only if she is an adventurer, assassin or she is good in combat.

If she is a drug addict, she will buy the product before shopping and she will be probably get caught by the matron if one is on shift. The matron will confiscate the drug then.

Train skills
She will try to improve her skills. If no other girl is training in her house during this shift, training is hard and often unproductive. The rest of the time, a random stat will be raised.

If several girls are training at the same time, they form groups of 4. Each girl will try to get experience from the best girl in up to 3 stats. The greater the difference between the master and the pupil, the more efficient the training will be.

Clean
She will clean the house for 25 gold. This will reduce the filth that make you loose customers. The higher her service stat the more filth is cleaned.

Doing this job may increase her Service stat.

Security
She will prevent the working girls from being raped for 70 gold. She makes the place secure with her combat, magic and service stats. Once the perpetrators are spotted, a classical combat will occurs. Here the traits that have an influence on the security provided:

Doing this job may increase her Combat stat and may give her Tough, Adventurer, Aggressive traits.

Advertising
Each house has an advertising budget to attract extra customers. This job will multiply this advertising budget efficiency for 70 gold. Here the factors that have an influence on the advertising :

  • +++ Service stat
  • ++ Charisma stat,  Intelligence stat
  • + Beauty stat, Confidence stat, Fame stat, Psychic, Cool Person, Sexy Air, Charismatic, Charming
  • - Nervous, Clumsy
  • --- Retarded, Malformed     


Doing this job may increase her Service stat.

Matron
The girl will take care of the other girls:
  • She will put them on rest if they are tired or have bad health.
  • Once they are better, she will put them back at their previous work.
  • She heals a bit girls with low health.
  • She will cheer-up a bit girls with low morale.
  • She sometimes prevents girls to escape.
  • She can catch a girl who has bought drugs and confiscate the product.
  • She makes the girls more obedient.
Her wages depends on her service stat.
Doing this job may increase her Service stat and may give her Charismatic or Psychic traits.

Torturer
She will torture the peoples in your dungeon for 65 gold. Each torture will remove happiness, confidence, tiredness, spirit and love and will increase obedience, hate and fear to the victim. If the torturer's hand is too heavy health is lost and constitution and BDSM are earned. The victim may acquire Broken Will, Masochist or Mind Fucked traits.

Doing this job may increase her BDSM stat and may give her Sadistic or Merciless traits.

Explore catacombs
She will explore the catacombs. She will fight monster and can came back with monster girls and gold. If she is defeated she can be raped and inseminated by monsters.

Doing this job may increase her Combat stat and Magic stat and may give her Tough, Adventurer, Aggressive traits.

Beast capture
She will try to capture beasts for 75 gold. If she win a combat, she will get back with 2 beasts if she wins and only one if she loses.


Doing this job may increase her Combat stat and Magic stat may give her Tough, Adventurer, Aggressive traits.

Beast care
She will grow the beast livestock for 65 gold. This will add 2 beast to the house livestock but there is always a small chance to loose one beast instead.


Doing this job may increase her Service stat and can be very positive for her Bestiality stat.

Whoremaster: Make them obey

Each time a girl has to perform an action you asked, she has to decide if she will obey. Each time she is attacked by you or by a gang, she decides if she will obey (surrender) or if she will fight back.

It's why in this game making the girls obey is so important, but it's sometimes hard to understand how to do it.

The base of her decision is her rebelliousness. Rebelliousness is influenced by
  • + spirit stat,
  • + Meek trait
  • + house share < 60% (for free girls),
  • - house share > 60% (for free girls),
  • - Love towards you
  • - Obedience
  • - High tiredness
  • - Being a slave
  • - A gang is guarding
  • - A matron is on duty
  • - Dependent, Mind fucked, Retarded traits
  • -- Broken will trait
As you can imagine, the more rebellious she is, the less she will obey, but it's not the only factor. If she is in a combat situation a high combat or a high magic will re-enforce her self-confidence and will then diminish her obedience. In sexual situations, her libido will influence her decision positively. Her personal enjoyment in the specific action asked helps too.

The love or fear towards you will influence again the desision but if she obeys, her love and fear will diminish.

Sim Brothel 2 review

The identity of the creator of the first version is still a mystery, some said he was French. Many agreed on the need for a version 2 and the limits of the first one. They created a development board forum and started to work on it.



It's a classical window program you launch from your hard drive. The user interface is the default grey one. On this point the version 2 is worse that the first version witch has a very pretty one and the disappointment has only started. The screens are ugly and not handy, some buttons do not respond: the game is not finished and it's like this for years! It seams that the team gave it up. The first version is a success but the second is a failure.

Many functions of the first one are not implemented but new concepts have been tried:

- The girls have specialties like "Big boobs" or "Noble". If you gather girls with the same specialties in the same house, a special bonus is triggered: you get more customer or more money.
- Each customer service is more detailed: you don't get just the monetary result like in the first version but a mini-erotic story, illustrated by a good hentail image.
- Each house has a girl who plays the manager. You can ask her to provide "quality service", it will increase the house reputation, or on the contrary stress on quantity to get more money. You can also ask her to train the girls, drug them (if they are not obedient) or use a special skill.
- They is also a tentative of adventure engine but it has not been finished too.

The initiator of this version wanted to create a 3D multilayer game. This program was intended only to be a test 2D interface. This goal was not realistic.

From this failure, all the fellow amateur game maker have to learn:
- Few medium or highly skilled contributors. I looked at the sources and the structure of this program was made by a beginner like I was 10 years ago. There is always room for beginners but they should be mentored otherwise they will lack methodology and will consume a lot of energy to implement their ideas and get discouraged.
- On the contrary, many contributors for new girls. It's useful but too much does not help.
- Many ideas, many feature but no stable release. This discouraged many. If a feature is not working, it should not be visible at all. The interfaces were also poorly designed too.
- If the initiator cannot bear all the coding himself, he has to provide contributors the sources via a tool like SVN.
- The game should remains "funny" to play. The basic principles should be designed before adding features.

All is not lost because this pushed others to create sister games like "Whoremaster". The Sim Brothel 2 game is not itself dead since new volunteers try to resuscitate it regularly. If you are good at programming, you know where to apply.

Many spent hours on this flash brothel management game, one of the precursor in this genre. You play the role of a prostitute who settle a new Brothel. At the beginning you have a building in poor condition and you are far outside the town but you have also to take care of the customer yourself. Your goal is to make your business grow, hire girls, buy more house and earn more and more money.


For this you have to choose the girls you will hire because it cost money and you want to have a good rate of return. The girls are defined by a set of characteristics and abilities, this will influence the amount of money customers are willing to pay for their services. They are also more or less obedient and get tired, you have then to schedule the shifts, send them to training and buy them items to re-enforce their weaknesses. They will evolve from beggars to high ranking prostitutes. You can also manage your different houses. You set the advertising budget, repair them, add rooms or bars. Each address has a reputation that will increase.


At the end of each turn, you have a report of all the events that occurred. Each is illustrated by an usually very hot scene showing the involved girl. Each week you get a special bonus that can be used to get girls, money or other things. You have also missions. Each mission filled in a given delay give you a super bonus.

This game is great at the begging because you want to get more money to discover new girls and get the pictures at the end of each turn. When you have many girls it starts to get a little hard to manage all the petty details and you get a little bored by picture of the girls you have for a long time.

Whoremaster: Gang actions

You wonder how to use gangs in the Whoremaster hentail game? The manual is a bit dry on it so I will explain what I read about it in the codes. Note that what I write can change on versions after v1.30.3.

The gangs action are entirely controlled via the "Gang management" screen.


On the center you see the gangs for hire, at the top you have a list of your gangs. You can move a gang between the two tables with the hire and fire buttons. To give a mission to one of your gangs, just select it and choose a mission form the list on the right side of the screen. Each mission type has a cost and the result will be displayed in the turn report.

Missions
Guarding
The gang will combat the attacking rival gangs to prevent them from stealing your territories and money.

Sabotage
The gang will try to attack a rival assets. If they found a rival, he will try to defend himself with a gang. If your gang wins the combat, it can loot your enemy: destroy territories, destroy brothels and steal gold. The amount of damages is related to the gang intelligence.

Spy on girls
Allow you to know the amount of gold your girls own. They will also try to catch girls hiding their real income. For this last task, the number of gang members and the gang intelligence is a bonus and the girl intelligence a malus.

Recapture
They will try to recapture girls that escaped less than 6 weeks ago. For this, they will use nets, this never fails. If they have no nets, they will have to combat her.

Acquire territory
The gang will try to conquer new territories for you. Theses territories are important: you get 20 gold / week from each ransomed shop and sometimes you kidnap the daughters of the shopkeeper if he cannot pay. More, you need territories to open a new House. Click on icons in the "visit town" screen to see the number of territories you have and the number you need to open a new house.
If there are some neutral territories left, each mission can get you up to three of them. If there is no neutral place to capture, the gang will have to fight. The rival will hire a free gang to defend himself. If he looses or if he has not hired a gang, you conquer one of his territory.

Petty Theft
The gang will try to rob bystanders. Depending on the victims they can steal up to 800 gold. They are likely to take some losses in this mission but you can prevent this by providing them with healing potions. They will sometimes bump into a rival gang, they will have to fight and no theft will be possible.

Grand Theft
The gang will attempt to rob a bank or something like this. The mission is like the petty theft mission but it's more risky and can pay more than twice as much.

Please note that the missions Acquire territory, Petty Theft and Grand Theft decrease the disposition of local authorities, and increase the suspicion and the customer fear.

Kidnapping
The gang will try to jail a girl into your dungeon. First they will try to find one and it will happen only sometimes. Once they found a victim, they will try to convince her to join you using their charisma. If it fails and if you provide them with nets, they will use it. With nets, captures never fails. If they have no nets, they will try to catch her after a combat.

Catacombs
The gang explores the catacombs. They use their combat characteristic to avoid to be wounded by monsters. If they take damages, they will prevent death with healing potions. They can get gold, this is less profitable than grand theft but more than petty theft but they can get items and even monster girls for you.

Training
The gang will try to increase one or more of its characteristics.

Recruiting
The gang will recruit 3 members until they are 15.

Combats
Combats with other gangs
Gangs use their combat and magic to attack and their agility to dodge attacks. When they take damages they use their constitutions and the healing potions to avoid death. Once half of its members are dead, a gang will try to flee but they are good chances that nobody escapes. The survivors in both side get their combat skilled improved.

Combat with a girl
 The girl with gauche her chance with her health, combat and magic characteristics but also her rebelliousness then she will defend herself or surrender.
If she fight, both parties will use combat and magic to attack and will dodge with agility.

Conclusion
Gangs are important in this game. You cannot grow without them.
